Biking in China

Biking in China can be exhilarating and frightening at the same time.
The trick is to be on the offensive and have eyes in the back of your head for the silent electrical bikes that come whizzing past you on a constant basis.

Here in Ningbo they have large, tree and canal lined, designated bike lanes that make getting around by bike a wonderful convenience.

Here’s what a normal intersection looks like biking to Chinese class at 9:30am on a Thursday morning. I love the 3M box (shout out to Euie) and the countless ways for transporting items by bike.
