This Christmas was filled with lots of festive cheer in Taipei…
From Santa bus drivers to decorative trees and lights…
Taipei 101 in lit up decor didn’t disappoint…
Christmas Eve we enjoyed mulled wine in our rice cooker along with decadent fig-rye and pumpkin-wheat breads.
Chef J was busy in the kitchen while I prepared Christmas cards.
Chef J never ceases to amaze me with only one skillet, an awesome meal!
Christmas Day after work I made the trek to the Xinyi financial district area.
And hiked up Elephant Mountain, 象山 for gorgeous views of the city.
Elephant mountain, aptly named for its’ shape, is a straight up hike most of the way to the lookout spots.
I definitely wasn’t alone up there.
Their cameras far superior to mine, I was still happy with what my iPhone 3G was able to capture at sunset.
Wishing you an awe inspiring holiday season!
